Die Quadriga is bestowed every year on 3rd October in Berlin to four per­so­na­li­ties of the por­li­ti­cal, eco­no­mic, so­cial and cu­ltu­ral life, who point the way to the fu­ture for en­lighten­ment, re­ge­ne­ra­tion and pio­neering spi­rit through their commit­ment.

The name giver of Die Quadriga is the le­gen­dary ensemble at the Brandenburg Gate.
